A rebellious teen girl meets her match when she becomes pen-pals with an old, communist despot in the trailer for the light-hearted satirical comedy "Dear Dictator," which stars Odeya Rush (from "Lady Bird" and "Goosebumps") as the teenage rebel and Oscar-winner Michael Caine as the real-life rebel and newly-exiled dictator.

Written and directed by Lisa Addario and Joe Syracuse (of "Amateur Night"), the film also stars Jason Biggs (American Pie) as a social studies teacher who has assigned his students to write a letter to a "role model." But when one of his students (Rush) starts corresponding with a notorious communist dictator (Caine) -- well, she not only failed to understand the class assignment, but has made a new friend who might be looking for a place to hide, now that he's been ousted from his own country.

Co-starring Katie Holmes as the mother and Seth Green as the mother's "creepy" toe-sucking boss, "Dear Dictator" is set to open in theaters and VOD on March 16th.
