"Girls" star Zosia Mamet is back in New York City. This time, she takes center stage, starring in a new Brooklyn-set romantic comedy about a young, struggling writer who finds out her old ex-boyfriend is living in the apartment below her, which stirs up all sorts of romantic feelings that she thought were long gone.

Written and directed by first-time feature filmmaker Sophie Brooks, "The Boy Downstairs" also stars Matthew Shear (The Meyerowitz Stories) as Mamet's ex-boyfriend and Sarah Ramos (TV's Parenthood) as his new girlfriend.

The film, which premiered last year to mostly positive reviews at the Tribeca Film Festival, is getting a limited theatrical release on February 16th. Watch the newly-released trailer, above.

synopsis:
Diana (Zosia Mamet) moves back to New York City after a few years in London and finds what seems to be the perfect Brooklyn apartment to start fresh. However, on the first night in her new home she discovers her ex-boyfriend (Matthew Shear) lives in the apartment below hers. After an awkward first encounter, Diana proclaims her intentions for a genuine friendship, but as the story progresses and old wounds are reopened, she is forced to confront the true nature of her feelings.
