There are cops who would like to bend the law. And then, there are cops who bend the law until it breaks.

Ryan Kwanten (True Blood) and Sean Bean (Game of Thrones) play the type of cops who not only break the law, they use their badge to get away with committing serious, serious crimes in "The Oath," a new gritty cop action-thriller for Crackle.

Executive produced by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, the ten-episode series delves into the underground world of criminal police gangs whose members not only carry police badges but sometimes carry large bags of stolen money.

Also, starring Katrina Law (TV's Training Day), Cory Hardrict (American Sniper), Arlen Escarpeta (The Magicians), and J.J. Soria (Animal Kingdom) with Elisabeth Rohm (Joy, American Hustle) playing a hard-charging FBI agent trying to bring down a crooked cop organization, "The Oath" is written and created by Joe Halpin, a television writer/producer (Hawaii Five-O, Secrets and Lies) who, in the '90s, worked as a real-life undercover police officer in Los Angeles.

"The Oath" is set to premiere Thursday, March 8th through Sony's free ad-supported streaming app, Crackle. Watch the newly-released official trailer, above.
