Antonio Banderas is a painting genius in the new official trailer for the upcoming second season of Ron Howard and Brian Grazer's Emmy-nominated anthology series, which is delving into the life of legendary Spanish artist Pablo Picasso.

Following the show's first season which had explored the life of famed physicist Albert Einstein (as portrayed by Geoffrey Rush and Johnny Flynn), the second installment is continuing its goal to examine history's greatest minds, offering a rich portrait of the influential 20th-century painter who was known for reinventing the art world as well as having numerous fiery relationships with women.

Banderas is portraying Picasso from the age of 40 and up, while Alex Rich (from the Netflix series "GLOW") plays the artist in his youth. The cast also includes Clemence Poesy, Robert Sheehan, Poppy Delevingne, and Aisling Franciosi.

"Genius: Picasso" is slated to premiere April 24th on the National Geographic network.

GENIUS is executive produced by Ron Howard and Brian Grazer.
