Revenge — International Trailer

added: Fri, Jan 12th '18

A young woman is sexually assaulted and left for dead, but battles back from the brink of death to exact bloody revenge on her disgusting male attackers.

Turning the revenge genre on its head, French writer-director Coralie Fargeat makes her feature film debut with this grindhouse-inspired desert horror thriller, which stars Italian model-actress Matilda Lutz (Rings, TV's Medici: Masters of Florence) as a sexual assault survivor who is able to turn the tables on her tormentors when she suddenly bounces back from near-death.

Having made a huge splash at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival where it premiered during the Midnight Madness section, "Revenge" has earned strong reviews from critics.

The film, which is set to open internationally in February, was acquired by AMC's subscription-based horror streaming service Shudder and will be released exclusively in the U.S. through the Shudder app sometime later in the year.

In the meantime, you can check out the film's newly-released international trailer, above.
