Evan Rachel Wood is a predatory house cleaner trying to manipulate a young teenage girl in the newly-released trailer for the upcoming psychological thriller "Allure."

The "Westworld" actress appears to be delivering a stirring portrayal of an emotionally disturbed woman who has managed to take advantage of an unhappy 16-year-old girl, who also happens to be her boss's daughter, in this seemingly haunting portrait of systemic child abuse.

Julia Sarah Stone, from the Syfy series "Aftermath," co-stars alongside Wood as her underage victim, while Denis O'Hare (American Horror Story, True Blood) plays the victim's father.

Marking the film debut of writers, directors and brothers Carlos and Jason Sanchez, "Allure" premiered back in September at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival (it went under the title "A Worthy Companion") but is now slated for a limited theatrical and VOD release starting March 16th.

synopsis:
Laura (Evan Rachel Wood) works as a house cleaner for her father's company but her personal life is not so pristine. Rough around the edges, looking for love in all the wrong places, her heartbreaking behavior points to hardships of the past. One day on the job, in yet another house, Laura meets Eva (Julia Sarah Stone), a quiet teenager unhappy with her disciplined life. In Eva, Laura rediscovers an innocent tenderness. In Laura, Eva finds a thrilling rebel who can bring her into unknown territories. The mutual attraction soon morphs into obsession as Laura convinces Eva to run away and secretly come live with her, perilously raising the stakes for the young, impressionable girl as Laura's emotional instability becomes increasingly clear.
