"Walking Dead" star Danai Gurira proves to be just as deadly with an African spear as she is with a Japanese katana sword. Check out a brand-new featurette for Marvel's latest superhero movie "Black Panther" where Gurira plays Okoye, the General of the Royal guards of Wakanda called the Dora Milaje.

Assigned to maintain the peace on Wakanda are an elite group of female bodyguards recruited from every tribe to protect the king, and to perhaps one day be chosen to prove herself worthy enough to become queen. Also added, is another quick featurette where actor Chadwick Boseman discusses the responsibility his character has in being king and maintaining Wakanda a secret from the outside world.

Directed by "Creed" helmer Ryan Coogler and also co-starring Lupita Nyong'o, Daniel Kaluuya, Sterling K. Brown, Forest Whitaker, Angela Bassett, Martin Freeman, Andy Serkis and Michael B. Jordan as the film's main antagonist, Erik Killmonger.

"Black Panther" hits theaters everywhere on February 16th.

synopsis:
"Black Panther" follows T'Challa who, after the events of "Captain America: Civil War," returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T'Challa's mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.
