Bill Hader is a world-class assassin who really wants to be a professional actor -- no, really, that's who he plays in the new hitman comedy series for HBO.

The former SNL star wonders why he can't kill for money and also pursue his dream of acting in the new trailer for "Barry," the upcoming HBO comedy which is co-created by Hader and executive-producer Alec Berg (Silicon Valley).

Hader also wrote and directed the pilot episode of the eight-part series, which revolves around a prolific contract killer named "Barry", who has become increasingly depressed about his hitman career, only to snap out of his slump when he accidentally develops a passion for acting.

The cast includes Henry Winkler (Happy Days) as Hader's new L.A. acting coach, Stephen Root (Get Out) as Hader's hitman associate, and Sarah Goldberg (VH1's Hindsight) and D'arcy Carden (NBC's The Good Place) as Hader's fellow acting classmates.

"Barry" is slated to premiere Sunday, March 25th on HBO.
