Prolific horror filmmaker Mike Flanagan, who has gained a considerable following with his cult films "Oculus," "Ouija: Origin of Evil," and Netflix's recent Stephen King hit "Gerald's Game," is finally able to enjoy the U.S. release of his long-delayed supernatural thriller "Before I Wake," which has been stuck in limbo for almost four years due to the financial collapse of Relativity Media, the film's original distributor.

Starring Kate Bosworth, Thomas Jane, and kid actor Jacob Tremblay (of "Room" and "Wonder" fame) as a sleep-deprived, eight-year-old boy who has an uncanny ability to make his dreams (and nightmares) come to life, "Before I Wake" has just been made available for streaming, courtesy of Netflix. Fans of Flanagan's horror films can now watch the movie that the director had finished right after his mirror-themed thriller "Oculus."

The film, which also co-stars Annabeth Gish and Dash Mihok, was initially scheduled to open theatrically in 2015, but was pushed back multiple times because of Relativity's money woes (the now-defunct company was ultimately forced to file a Chapter 11 bankruptcy).

Netflix, which had worked with Flanagan on the thrillers "Gerald's Game" and "Hush," had announced back in December that they will be releasing "Before I Wake" on January 5th. The streaming company has just released an official trailer online, watch it above.
