Netflix has released the trailer for "Step Sisters," a new original film for the streaming company, which hails from Charles Stone III, the director of the hit college competition comedy "Drumline."

In the movie, Megalyn Echikunwoke (from "CSI: Miami" and "90210") stars as a Harvard Law hopeful who is forced to coach and teach a bunch of undisciplined sorority sisters how to compete in a highly-challenging, charity step-dance contest.

Featuring choreography composed by "Pitch Perfect" choreographer Aakomon Jones, the film also stars Eden Sher (The Middle), Lyndon Smith (NBC's Parenthood), Naturi Naughton (Power), Alessandra Torresani (The Big Bang Theory), Gage Golightly (MTV's Teen Wolf), Marque Richardson (Dear White People), and Matt McGorry (How to Get Away with Murder).

"Step Sisters" is scheduled to premiere later this month on Netflix, beginning on Friday, January 19th.
