A teen boy with severe psychological issues plans to kill someone. Instead, he unexpectedly falls in love with a teen girl with severe issues of her own. Check out the trailer for Netflix's latest British import, the unconventional boy-meets-girl series "The End of the F--king World."
Based on the award-winning graphic novel by comic book artist Charles Forsman, the eight-part road-trip drama stars Alex Lawther (from "Black Mirror" and "The Imitation Game") and Jessica Barden (from "The Lobster" and "Penny Dreadful") as the homicidal kook, James, and his new profanity-spewing girlfriend, Alyssa.
Developed by British commercial/short film director-turned-first-time TV creator Jonathan Entwistle, the offbeat series also co-stars Steve Oram (Sightseers), Gemma Whelan (Game of Thrones), Alex Sawyer (Nickelodeon's House of Anubis), and Wunmi Mosaku (Fantastic Beasts...).
"The End of the F--king World" will make its US debut this Friday, streaming on Netflix on January 5th.
