Check out the final U.S. trailer for "Paddington 2," the sequel to the crowd-pleasing blockbuster family comedy about a young floppy red hat-wearing, marmalade-loving bear (voiced by Ben Whishaw) who is welcomed into a loving English family after traveling to London from Peru.

Based on the classic children's book series by Michael Bond, the sequel, which incorporates CG animation with live action, finds Paddington the Bear still living with the Brown family (Hugh Bonneville and Sally Hawkins). However, Paddington is soon mixed up in a case of false imprisonment after being mistakenly arrested for stealing an extremely valuable pop-up book for his Aunt's birthday gift.

It just so happens Paddington was framed by Phoenix Buchanan (played by Hugh Grant), a washed-up celebrity who's in desperate need of money. Now Paddington, the Browns, and Paddington's new friends from prison (Brendan Gleeson, Noah Taylor) are banding together to clear Paddington's name by retrieving the stolen book from Phoenix Buchanan.

Produced by "Harry Potter" producer David Heyman and directed by "Mighty Boosh" director Paul King and co-starring Imelda Staunton as the voice of Aunt Lucy, "Paddington 2" will be arriving in the States in a couple of weeks, hitting theaters on January 12th.

synopsis:
Paddington is happily settled with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens, where he has become a popular member of the community, spreading joy and marmalade wherever he goes. While searching for the perfect present for his beloved Aunt Lucy's 100th birthday, Paddington spots a unique pop-up book in Mr. Gruber's antique shop, and embarks upon a series of odd jobs to buy it. But when the book is stolen, it's up to Paddington and the Browns to unmask the thief.
