Marvel has released a new TV commercial for "Black Panther," featuring Chadwick Boseman as the titular African superhero who vows to protect his kingdom of Wakanda from a dangerous new enemy.
Michael B. Jordan (star of "Creed") plays Black Panther's formidable foe, Erik Killmonger, who reveals in the new preview that he wants to "burn" the entire world, and he's going to start with killing off the new king of Wakanda. Which is easier said than done.
Featuring an impressive supporting cast that includes Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong'o, The Walking Dead's Danai Gurira, Angela Bassett, Martin Freeman, Andy Serkis, and more, "Black Panther," which is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Ryan Coogler (Fruitvale Station, Creed), is coming to theaters on February 16th.
synopsis:
"Black Panther" follows T'Challa who, after the events of "Captain America: Civil War," returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T'Challa's mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.
