To steal a priceless necklace in New York City, Sandra Bullock must assemble a team of seven skilled women, all of whom play an integral part in one, elaborate diamond-stealing caper.

Check out the very first trailer for the star-studded heist movie "Ocean's 8," an offshoot of the "Ocean's Eleven" franchise, in which Bullock plays Debbie Ocean, the fresh-out-of-jail sister of con-artist extraordinaire Danny Ocean (George Clooney's character who, at this point in the franchise, might be dead or possibly faking his own death).

Also starring Cate Blanchett, singer Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Sarah Paulson, Mindy Kaling, rapper Awkwafina and Anne Hathaway with Richard Armitage and James Corden, the Steven Soderbergh-produced film hails from director Gary Ross (Seabiscuit, The Hunger Games) who also co-wrote the screenplay with Olivia Milch, the writer-director of the upcoming comedy "Dude."

"Ocean's 8" is currently scheduled to hit theaters next summer, beginning June 8, 2018.
