Watch the "School of Rock" star as he instantly turns into "The Polka King" in the newly released trailer for the upcoming Netflix film, which tells the incredible true story of Jan Lewan (played by Black), a local Pennsylvania polka legend who masterminded a devious Ponzi scheme to achieved his American dream.

From the filmmaking team of writer-director Maya Forbes (Infinitely Polar Bear) and co-writer-producer Wallace Wolodarsky (The Rocker, Monsters vs. Aliens), "The Polka King" also stars Jenny Slate, Vanessa Bayer, Jason Schwartzman, Jacki Weaver, J.B. Smoove and Willie Garson.

Based on the story told in the 2009 documentary "The Man who Would be Polka King," the Netflix film, which premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival, is set to debut January 12, 2018.

Lewan pursued the American Dream by any means necessary, fleecing investors and bribing officials to build a personal musical empire in what became the world’s only known Polka Ponzi scheme. Swept up by Lewan’s charismatic charm are his devoted wife, Marla (Jenny Slate), and his neurotic sidekick, Mickey (Jason Schwartzman).
