Liam Neeson gets tricked into joining a deadly conspiracy in the new final trailer for the Hitchcockian action thriller "The Commuter."

Neeson plays an insurance salesman who, while traveling on a commuter train, is fooled into participating in a criminal plot. He must locate a mysterious passenger who doesn't belong on the train or suffer the consequences. Now he's stuck in a dire situation that grows increasingly tense as the hours unfold.

Also starring Vera Farmiga, Elizabeth McGovern, Patrick Wilson, Jonathan Banks, and Sam Neill, the film is directed by "The Shallows" helmer Jaume Collet-Serra who has repeatedly worked with Neeson before on the thrillers "Non-Stop," "Run All Night," and "Unknown."

"The Commuter" arrives in theaters on January 12th.

Michael is an insurance salesman who is on his daily commute home, when it quickly becomes anything but routine. After being contacted by a mysterious stranger, Michael is forced to uncover the identity of a hidden passenger on his train before the last stop. As he works against the clock to solve the puzzle, he realizes a deadly plan is unfolding and is unwittingly caught up in a criminal conspiracy. One that carries life and death stakes for himself and his fellow passengers.
