HBO's Crashing: Season 2 — New Trailer

Comedian/podcaster Pete Holmes is hoping to develop "star quality" as he continues to break into show business in the new second season of his semi-autobiographical comedy series "Crashing," which draws on his early experiences of struggling in New York City as a lowly, newly divorced stand up comic.

HBO has released a new official trailer for the upcoming new season, which sees Holmes, playing a fictionalized version of himself, stepping into a new stage of his life and career while also grappling with his status as a newly single, God-fearing man with little to no experience in dating relationships. Comedienne Jamie Lee (who also writes for the series) co-stars as Pete's new love interest, although she seems utterly annoyed by his presence.

Produced by Judd Apatow, the HBO comedy boasts an impressive list of comedy guest stars playing themselves, including Whitney Cummings, Doug Benson, Bill Burr, Jeffrey Ross, Gilbert Gottfried, Artie Lange, and Wayne Federman.

The new season will also feature Dr. Oz. in a hilarious segment as seen in the new preview, above.

"Crashing: Season 2" premieres Sunday, January 14th on HBO.

Pete Holmes stars in his own comedy series about a stand-up comic who reevaluates his life and enters the New York comedy scene after discovering his wife's infidelity.
