A couple of thrill-seeking paleontologists get more than they bargained for when they discover a large Tyrannosaurus Rex tooth buried in the badlands of western North Dakota.

Here's the trailer for "Valley of Bones," a melodramatic crime thriller about an archeological dig gone sideways, and dangerously off track.

The film stars Autumn Reeser (Entourage, The O.C.), Rhys Coiro (Ray Donovan, Entourage), and Steven Molony (Oxenfree) with Muse Watson (Prison Break), Alexandra Billings (Transparent), Bill Smitrovich (The Last Ship, The Practice), and Mark Margolis (Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad).

Directed and co-written by indie filmmaker Dan Glaser (Oxenfree), "Valley of Bones" is now available on DVD and Digital.

synopsis:
A disgraced paleontologist struggling to raise her son is tipped off to a groundbreaking dig site in the Badlands by a recovering meth addict, but his tie to a cartel threatens to bury them both under the weight of their criminal pasts.

Anna (Autumn Reeser), a passionate but disgraced paleontologist, embarks on a journey through the badlands of western North Dakota in search of a potentially historic fossil. Word reaches Anna that Wes McCoy (Steven Molony), a recovering meth addict with unpaid cartel debts, has stumbled upon a large Tyrannosaurus Rex tooth. Determined to find the bones at any cost and undo her past mistakes, she teams up with McCoy, along with her late husband's brother and her estranged son, and finds herself entangled in a dangerous game that tests whether she will move on from her past, or be consumed by it.
