Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom — Teaser Footage

Universal Pictures has unveiled the first footage from the soon-to-be-released "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" trailer, which features a screaming and running Chris Pratt and a bewildered Bryce Dallas Howard.

The quick 15-second scene shows Pratt's Owen Grady racing down a tropical mountain range while screaming at Dallas Howard's character, Claire Dearing, to "RUN!" We see Claire is not alone. She is accompanied by a new Jurassic Park scientist character, played by newcomer Justice Smith (former star of the short-lived Netflix hip-hop series "The Get Down").

The trio find themselves taking cover behind a broken gyrosphere ride as the world around them is literally coming undone. It appears an erupting volcano has produced a massive stampede of dinosaurs, and every living creature (including the humans) on the island is frantically trying to escape with their lives intact. Oh, boy. This sequel to the 2015 blockbuster is going to be epic. And judging by Dallas Howard's facial expression, it's going to be jaw-dropping as well.

Update: Universal has released a couple of more teaser promos, which have been added to the video playlist, above.

Slated for a June 22nd theatrical release, "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom," which will also see the return of Jeff Goldblum as the beloved Dr. Ian Malcolm, will receive its first official trailer later this week, on Thursday. So, stay tuned.
