Stand-up comedian and comedy podcaster Pete Holmes returns for a second season of his acclaimed HBO series "Crashing," for which a trailer has just been released.

Executive produced by Judd Apatow, "Crashing" is a semi-biographical portrayal of Holmes' early years as a financially struggling, newly divorced stand-up comic in New York City. Each episode follows Holmes as he tries to break into the comedy business, while "crashing" on the couches of his fellow comedians, played by real-life professional comics, T.J. Miller, Sarah Silverman, and Artie Lange.

Among the comedians featured in the series include Dov Davidoff, Aparna Nancherla, Rachel Feinstein, Jeffrey Ross, Gilbert Gottfried, Dan Naturman, Henry Zebrowski, Jermaine Fowler, and Zach Cherry with Lauren Lapkus and George Basil cast as Holmes' caught-cheating ex-wife and her hippie ex-boyfriend.

Season Two adds comedians Bill Burr, Wayne Federman, and Whitney Cummings to the cast as possible mentors with comedienne Jamie Lee (who also writes for the series) as a possible love interest for Holmes' semi-autobiographical character.

"Crashing: Season 2" is scheduled to air Sunday, January 14, 2018 on HBO.
