For his latest movie, Hugh Jackman is putting on a show! And it's certainly a sight to be seen ... and heard.
Check out the new official trailer for the upcoming musical "The Greatest Showman," in which the life of legendary 19th-century circus promoter P. T. Barnum (portrayed here by Jackman) is put to music.
Featuring original songs composed by Academy Award-winning "La La Land" songwriting duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the film boasts a strong ensemble cast that includes four-time Oscar nominee Michelle Williams, High School Musical's Zac Efron, Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation), Paul Sparks (Boardwalk Empire), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (The Get Down), Gayle Rankin (GLOW), Broadway singer Keala Settle, and Spider-Man: Homecoming's Zendaya.
Charting how Barnum turned an odd-looking group of stage performers into a circus family, the film marks the feature directorial debut of visual effects artist and commercial director Michael Gracey.
Written by Emmy-winning writer Jenny Bicks (Sex and the City) and award-winning filmmaker Bill Condon (Dreamgirls), "The Greatest Showman" is slated for a December 20th theatrical release.
