Sony Pictures has released a new international trailer for "Peter Rabbit," the CGI/live-action hybrid comedy, which is a modern-day interpretation of the classic children's stories by famed English author and illustrator Beatrix Potter.

Following the mischievous adventures of a blue jacket-wearing, anthropomorphic rabbit, the family movie features late-night TV host James Corden as the voice of the title role. Meanwhile, the human cast includes Rose Byrne (from "Neighbors" and "Bridesmaids") as Peter's benevolent owner, Bea, and Domhnall Gleeson (star of "Ex Machina" and "Star Wars: The Force Awakens") as Peter's arch nemesis, the vermin-hating next-door neighbor Mr. McGregor.

Director Will Gluck, whose credits include the hit comedies "Easy A" and "Friends with Benefits" and who previously wrote and directed the musical remake "Annie," directs.

Among those in the voice cast are Suicide Squad's Margot Robbie, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2's Elizabeth Debicki, and Force Awakens' Daisy Ridley as the bunnies, Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail.

"Peter Rabbit" will arrive in theaters February 9, 2018.

synopsis:
Peter Rabbit, the mischievous and adventurous hero who has captivated generations of readers, now takes on the starring role of his own irreverent, contemporary comedy with attitude.
