Hulu's Future Man: Season 1 — Behind-the-Scenes Featurette

added: Mon, Nov 6th '17

Go behind the scenes of Hulu's "Future Man," Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's new time-traveling comedy series that stars Josh Hutcherson (of "Hunger Games" fame) as a videogame-obsessed slacker who is recruited by two post-apocalyptic time-travelers (played by Eliza Coupe and Derek Wilson) for a mission to save humanity from a doomed future.

Created by "Sausage Party" writers Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir and executive produced by Rogen and Goldberg, who also helm the half-hour pilot, "Future Man" pays particular homage to the retro style of '80s sci-fi films and comedies, namely: "The Terminator," "Back to the Future," and "The Last Starfighter."

Co-starring Keith David, Haley Joel Osment, Ed Begley Jr. and the late, Glenne Headly, the sci-fi comedy is scheduled to start streaming on Hulu Tuesday, November 14th.

From Executive Producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, Future Man follows a janitor by day/world-ranked gamer by night who travels through time to prevent the extinction of humanity after mysterious visitors from the future proclaim him the key to defeating the imminent super-race invasion. Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games, The Kids Are Alright) stars as Josh Futterman, an uninspired and dejected gamer who quickly becomes earth's unlikely hero.
