Daddy's Home 2 — New 'Holiday' Trailer

When spending a wonderful Christmas with family members, the holiday can't have enough dads like Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell as they add a joyous exuberance to everything they do. However, grandfathers like Mel Gibson and John Lithgow are entirely a different story as they can be a real pain in the you-know-where.

Check out a new "Holiday" trailer for "Daddy's Home 2," the upcoming sequel to the 2015 family-comedy blockbuster, which focused on the intense rivalry between nerdy step-dad Brad Whitaker (Ferrell) and bad-boy biological dad Dusty Mayron (Wahlberg).

Well, it seems Brad and Dusty are finally working together as a cohesive unit, co-parenting Dusty's young children with Brad's wife and Dusty's ex-spouse, Sara (Linda Cardellini). However, Brad and Dusty's newfound friendship is threatened when their own fathers (played by an alpha-male Gibson and a beta-male Lithgow) decide to come over for Christmas.

Also featuring an appearance by wrestler-turned-actor John Cena who's back as the "cool" dad, "Daddy's Home 2" is hitting theaters November 10th.

synopsis:
In the sequel to the 2015 global smash, father and stepfather, Dusty (Mark Wahlberg) and Brad (Will Ferrell), have joined forces to provide their kids with the perfect Christmas. Their newfound partnership is put to the test when Dusty's old-school, macho Dad (Mel Gibson) and Brad's ultra-affectionate and emotional Dad (John Lithgow) arrive just in time to throw the holiday into complete chaos.
