Slice — Teaser

added: Tue, Oct 31st '17

A24 Films, the studio behind the cult hits "Ex Machina," "The Witch," and "Moonlight," has released the first teaser for their latest offbeat offering, "Slice."

And while the preview doesn't show much, besides a good look at the movie's logo, "Slice" is an upcoming horror comedy that will star Grammy-winning musician Chance the Rapper in his first ever feature film role.

Written and directed by music video helmer Austin Vesely, the film will revolve around the mysterious murder of a pizza delivery driver and take place in a city populated by various oddball characters and possible supernatural monsters.

The cast will also include Zazie Beetz (from the FX series "Atlanta" and the upcoming "Deadpool 2" movie), Will Brill (from Netflix's "The OA"), and Rae Gray (from AMC's "Fear the Walking Dead"), with appearances by comedian Paul Scheer and "Stranger Things" star Joe Keery.

"Slice" is coming to theaters in 2018.

When a pizza delivery driver is murdered on the job, the city searches for someone to blame: ghosts? drug dealers? a disgraced werewolf?
