Star Wars: The Last Jedi — Alternate Japanese Trailer

added: Mon, Oct 30th '17

Now that we are only 45 days away until "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" takes over theaters, a brand-new alternate international trailer has just arrived online (for Japanese markets) featuring a quick snippet of new footage from filmmaker Rian Johnson's eagerly-awaited Eighth Chapter of the "Star Wars" Saga.

The film follows Rey (Daisy Ridley) as she seeks guidance from the last Jedi, Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) who will reluctantly train her to learn the ways of the Force and become a Jedi like her father?, her mother?, her uncle?, her auntie? -- or maybe even a first cousin or something. Meanwhile, Rey's Resistance friends Finn (John Boyega) and Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) are fighting the First Order across the galaxy as they try to survive their latest impossible mission.

Rian Johnson (Looper, Brick) writes and directs "The Last Jedi," which features cast members Adam Driver, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Benicio del Toro, Laura Dern, Anthony Daniels and the late, great Carrie Fisher (in her final film role) as General Leia Organa.

"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" opens at a theater near you on December 15th.

Having taken her first steps into a larger world in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Rey continues her epic journey with Finn, Poe and Luke Skywalker in the next chapter of the saga.
