Get your first real look at the super-villain "Steppenwolf." He's the bulky general who is leading an army of flying demons against the World's Finest Team of Heroes, led by Batman and Wonder Woman, in the upcoming "Justice League" movie. Check out the new trailer, titled "Thunder," along with a few of the latest commercials that feature a bit more footage of the Superfriends in action.
The character "Steppenwolf" was created by Jack Kirby in 1972 and is the uncle of Uxas, better known to the DC Universe as Darkseid. "Game of Thrones" actor Ciaran Hinds is the motion-captured performer who is portraying General Steppenwolf in the DC movie.
With orders from his nephew, Darkseid, Steppenwolf leaves the planet Apokolips to take over Earth. Meanwhile, Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) are already assembling a team of metahumans as they stand together in unity against Steppenwolf and his demon army.
Directed by Zack Snyder (Batman v Superman, Man of Steel) with a special assistance by Joss Whedon, the film also features Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, J.K. Simmons, Amy Adams, Connie Nielsen, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Amber Heard, Henry Cavill and much more.
"Justice League" will open everywhere November 17th.
