Whoo-hah! Al Pacino tries to track down a serial killer in the trailer for the upcoming detective thriller "Hangman."

Also starring Karl Urban (Thor: Ragnarok) and Brittany Snow (Pitch Perfect), the film follows a veteran homicide detective (Pacino) as he is pulled out of retirement to investigate a difficult case involving a sadistic serial murderer who has been hanging the bodies of his victims as a way to taunt the police.

Directed by stuntman-turned-filmmaker Johnny Martin (Vengeance: A Love Story), "Hangman" will be released on Ultra VOD November 24th before arriving in select theaters and on traditional VOD platforms December 22nd.

synopsis:
Decorated homicide detective Ray Archer (Al Pacino) and his partner, criminal profiler Will Ruiney, (Karl Urban) are tasked to catch one of the city's notoriously vicious serial killers who is playing a twisted version of murder using the child's game -- HANGMAN, while crime journalist Christi Davies (Brittany Snow) reports on the crime spree, shadowing the detectives.
