Check out the trailer for the indie ensemble comedy "It Happened in L.A.," which is written and directed by actress-turned-first-time filmmaker Michelle Morgan, who leads the cast as a struggling L.A. writer who breaks up with her showbiz boyfriend.

Following a group of close-knit thirtysomething friends as they navigate their dating relationships and Hollywood careers, the movie also stars comedian Jorma Taccone (Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping), Dree Hemingway (Live Cargo), Kentucker Audley (The Sacrament), Margarita Levieva (HBO's The Deuce), Adam Shapiro (Sense8), Angela Trimbur (The Final Girls), Robert Schwartzman (The Princess Diaries), Nora Zehetner (Maron), Andre Hyland (The 4th), and Tate Donovan (Damages).

"It Happened in L.A.," which premiered earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival, will open in New York on November 3rd and in Los Angeles November 10th before arriving on VOD November 14th.
