Bill Pullman (Independence Day) is out for revenge in the trailer for the new western thriller "The Ballad of Lefty Brown."

When his longtime friend/partner is suddenly shot and murdered before his eyes, washed-up sidekick Lefty Brown (Pullman) musters up enough strength and spirit to go after the killer. Along the way, Brown quickly finds himself being backed up by a small posse that consists of an old, experienced gunhand and a young cowboy who's itching to shoot an outlaw.

Additionally, the film also stars Kathy Baker, Jim Caviezel, Tommy Flanagan, Diego Josef, and Joe Anderson with an appearance by Peter Fonda as Lefty Brown's murdered friend.

Filmmaker Jared Moshe, who previously made 2012's indie western "Dead Man's Burden," writes and directs "The Ballad of Lefty Brown," which is slated to be released on DirecTV on November 9th and in theaters on December 15th.

Aging sidekick Lefty Brown (Bill Pullman) has ridden with Eddie Johnson (Peter Fonda) his entire life. But when a rustler kills Eddie, Lefty is forced from his partner’s shadow and must confront the ugly realities of frontier justice.
