So far, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been permeated with gods, aliens, men with superpowers, and men with superpowered weapons. But the studio's newest comic book film is going to show viewers something they haven't seen before: Welcome to Wakanda!

Check out the newly released full-length trailer for "Black Panther," starring Chadwick Boseman (Marshall, 42) as African ruler T'Challa, who, after dealing with his father's tragic death during the events of "Captain America: Civil War," has returned to his African homeland of Wakanda. While vowing to defend his technologically advanced kingdom, shielding it from outsiders, he picks up the mantle of leadership by stepping into the role of legendary folk guardian, The Black Panther. But before he can decide what kind of King he's going to be, T'Challa faces a formidable challenger: Erik Killmonger (played by a bulked up Michael B. Jordan). Now the battle for Wakanda is on!

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Ryan Coogler (Fruitvale Station, Creed), the film's cast also includes Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong'o, The Walking Dead's Danai Gurira, Get Out's Daniel Kaluuya, Emmy-winner Sterling K. Brown, with appearances by Oscar-winner Forest Whitaker, Angela Bassett, Martin Freeman (as Everett K. Ross) and Andy Serkis (as Ulysses Klaw).

"Black Panther" is slated for a February 16th release.
