Amazon has released the official trailer for "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel," a new comedy series from "Gilmore Girls" creator Amy Sherman-Palladino.

Set in the world of stand-up comedy during the era of controversial 1960s comedian Lenny Bruce, the ten-episode Amazon series tells the story of a young New York Jewish housewife who, after discovering her cheating husband has left her for his secretary, decides to embark on a career as an underground comic who practices in blue material.

Rachel Brosnahan, the Emmy-nominated actress from Netflix's "House of Cards" and who co-starred in "Patriots Day," plays the title character while comic actress Alex Borstein (MadTV, Family Guy) plays her unlikely comedy club manager.

Amy Sherman-Palladino wrote and directed the hourlong pilot, which was released back in March and is currently available to stream.

Co-starring Tony Shalhoub, Kevin Pollak, Michael Zegen, Marin Hinkle and Max Casella, "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel: Season 1" will debut Wednesday, November 29th, only on Amazon Prime.
