A brand-new trailer for Amazon's superhero comedy series "The Tick" has been released, following its debut at this year's New York Comic Con.

Based on the comic book spoof by cartoonist-turned-television producer Ben Edlund, the action-adventure series follows a nerdy accountant named Arthur Everest (played by Griffin Newman) as he becomes the reluctant, moth suit-wearing sidekick to a clueless blue superhero known as "The Tick" (played by English comedian Peter Serafinowicz; from "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Spy").

Valorie Curry, Brendan Hines, Yara Martinez, and Jackie Earle Haley also star.

In August, Amazon Studios released the first six episodes of the show's first season. The streaming company is planning to release the remaining four episodes on February 23, 2018.

Oscar-winning cinematographer Wally Pfister (The Dark Knight) directed the first two episodes of the series, which is currently available on Amazon Prime.
