Starz's The Girlfriend Experience: Season 2 — Trailer

STARZ has released the official trailer for Season 2 of the acclaimed Steven Soderbergh-produced anthology series "The Girlfriend Experience," which takes a provocative look at the world of high-end escorts.

Season 2 features a brand-new cast -- led by British actresses Carmen Ejogo (Alien: Covenant, Selma) and Anna Friel (TV's Pushing Daisies, American Odyssey) -- and will follow two parallel storylines that take place in Washington, D.C. and New Mexico.

Showrunners Lodge Kerrigan and Amy Seimetz will again write and direct the entire series -- although this time, they are splitting up the work:

Kerrigan will only write and direct the Washington, D.C. storyline, which features Friel as a Republican campaign director who hires a local high-end escort (played by Louisa Krause) to operate as a political spy.

While Seimetz writes and directs the New Mexico storyline, which casts Ejogo as a former upscale escort who is given a new identity after being placed in the Witness Protection Program.

"The Girlfriend Experience: Season 2" premieres Sunday, November 5th on STARZ.
