Here's a look at that other "Blade Runner" movie -- the non-science-fiction one about the double-amputee Olympic runner who was found guilty of murdering his model girlfriend.

Check out the official trailer for "Oscar Pistorius: Blade Runner Killer," Lifetime's upcoming true-crime thriller starring TV actor Andreas Damm (from the series "Person of Interest" and "Elementary") as the infamous South African Paralympic champion who, due to the appearance of his prosthetic legs, was nicknamed by the media as the "Blade Runner" and later the "Blade Runner Killer" when he shot and killed his girlfriend during 2013 Valentine's Day night, claiming to have mistaken her for a home intruder.

Co-starring German model/actress Toni Garrn as Pistorius' murdered girlfriend, Reeva Steenkap, the Lifetime film is directed by British TV helmer Norman Stone and written by former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" actress Amber Benson.

"Oscar Pistorius: Blade Runner Killer" will premiere on Lifetime on Saturday, November 11th.

synopsis:
"Oscar Pistorius: Blade Runner Killer" tells the story of the sprint runner dubbed the "Blade Runner," and his rise to fame as a gold medalist Paralympic champion and as the first double-leg amputee to participate in the Olympics. Oscar’s (Andreas Damm) resilience to overcome his disability combined with his apparent fairy tale relationship with model Reeva Steenkap (Toni Garrn) turned him into a media favorite. This all shattered one Valentine’s Day night when four bullets were fired and Reeva’s life was taken. Her brutal death shocked the world and the court room drama that followed consumed the news.

Told from the point of view of the people most affected -- Reeva and her mother -- "Oscar Pistorius: Blade Runner Killer" will give the inside scoop of the events leading up to Reeva's killing, the relationship between Oscar and Reeva, the cracks that were forming in it, as well as what allegedly happened on that tragic night and the courtroom trials that followed.
