It's one of Anton Yelchin's final screen performances, and a trailer for the film has been released.

The late, Yelchin (the star of the rebooted "Star Trek" franchise and the cult thriller "Green Room") -- who tragically died in a freak accident in June 2016, but completed work on several yet-to-be-released films -- delivers a melancholic performance as a wistful American traveler who finds himself being tortured by love after falling hard for a beautiful French student in the Jim Jarmusch-produced indie drama "Porto."

Co-starring French model-turned-actress Lucie Lucas (star of the French television series "Clem"), the atmospheric romance, which is set in the Portuguese city of Porto, appears to be a haunting, meditative look at falling in and out of love as told through the perspectives of two visitors in a foreign town.

Brazilian-born filmmaker Gabe Klinger, who previously helmed the documentary "Double Play: James Benning and Richard Linklater," co-writes and directs the drama, which is scheduled to open in New York on November 17th and Los Angeles on November 24; with other cities to follow.

synopsis:
Jake (Anton Yelchin) and Mati (Lucie Lucas) are two outsiders in the Portuguese city of Porto who once experienced a brief but intimate connection. A mystery remains about the moments they shared, and in searching through alternately joyous and painful memories, they relive a surprising encounter in which time stopped for them for just one night.
