The Endless — Teaser Trailer

added: Fri, Sep 22nd '17

With their cult low-budget supernatural thrillers "Spring" and "Resolution," writing-producing-directing duo Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson have built a solid reputation as filmmakers who can accomplish a lot with very little. They're back with their third collaboration -- and like their previous efforts, it appears to be another mind-bending supernatural mystery that borders on psychological horror, heavy with disquieting ambiguity.

Check out the newly-released teaser trailer for Benson and Moorhead's "The Endless," which is scheduled to screen this weekend at Fantastic Fest.

Featuring a cast that includes the directors themselves along with Tate Ellington (TV's Quantico), Lew Temple (TV's The Walking Dead), Callie Hernandez (Blair Witch), and James Jordan (Wind River), the film revolves around a mysterious doomsday cult in which two former escaped members decide to return after a decade.

Premiering to strong reviews at the Tribeca Film Festival back in May, "The Endless" has since been acquired by Well Go USA Entertainment. But as of yet, there's no official release date.

Following their acclaimed debut RESOLUTION and their follow-up, the Lovecraftian modern cult classic SPRING, writer/directors Moorhead and Benson star as brothers who receive a mysterious message inspiring them to pay a visit to the cult they escaped as children. As unsettling events and phenomena begin to occur, the brothers are forced to question whether the cult’s supernatural beliefs might not be entirely made up - and if, now that they’ve returned, they’ll be allowed to leave again.
