If you loved "La La Land" but wished it had more zombies in it -- well, then, you might want to check out this teaser trailer for "Anna and the Apocalypse."

File this under "a cult film in the making," "Anna and the Apocalypse" is a British horror musical comedy that's slated to make its world premiere this Friday at Fantastic Fest.

Directed by Scottish comedy director John McPhail (Where Do We Go From Here?), the movie is a feature-length adaptation of the BAFTA-nominated short film "Zombie Musical" from the late, filmmaker Ryan McHenry.

20-year-old English actress Ella Hunt (Robot Overlords, Les Miserables) stars as Anna, a high school teen who spontaneously breaks out into song and dance when her sleepy British town is suddenly overrun by flesh-eating zombies.

Set during Christmas time, the film, which co-stars Christopher Leveaux, Sarah Swire, Mark Benton, and Paul Kaye, appears to be a cross between "Shaun of the Dead" and "La La Land" or "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" Musical Speical.

As of yet, the film does not have an official release date and will likely continue to run on the festival circuit for the next several months.

When the zombie apocalypse hits the sleepy town of Little Haven - at Christmas - teenager Anna and her high school friends have to fight, sing and dance to survive, with the undead horde all around them. Teaming up with her best friend John, Anna has to fight her way through zombified snowmen, Santas, elves and Christmas shoppers to get across town to the high school, where they'll be safe. But they soon discover that being a teenager is just as difficult as staying alive, even at the end of the world.
