Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan are trapped inside a video game in the new full trailer for "Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle," the forthcoming sequel to the 1995 blockbuster that starred the late, Robin Williams.

Set 20 years after the events of the original film, the premise still revolves around the "Jumanji" game, in which unassuming players are forced to survive in a savage jungle world. Only this time, the magical board game has now become an old retro video-game console that falls into the hands of four high school teens (played by Alex Wolff, Madison Iseman, Ser'Darius Blain, and Morgan Turner).

So when the kids select their own video-game avatars -- a muscular adventurer with a mighty punch (Johnson), a backpack-wearing zoologist with a weakness for cake (Hart), an overweight, middle-aged professor (Black), and a Tomb Raider-like warrior (Gillan) -- they quickly discover the 'Jumanji' video game has magically transported them inside the game's jungle setting -- while the same time, transforming them into their selected avatars.

Now they must work together and figure out a way to beat the game and return home -- or die trying! Or which in this case, they each have three lives before they die in the game.

Filmmaker Jake Kasdan (Sex Tape, Bad Teacher, Walk Hard) directs the film, which co-stars Nick Jonas, Rhys Darby, and Bobby Cannavale.

"Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle" is due to open on December 20th.
