Lee Pace goes up against giant laser-blasting machines in the trailer for "Revolt," an alien-invasion action thriller from video-game commercial director Joe Miale.

The "Halt and Catch Fire" star plays a weary American soldier named 'Bo' who finds himself teaming up with a French foreign aid worker, named 'Nadia' (played by "Skyfall" Bond girl Berenice Marlohe).

When most of the world is wiped out by an invading army of deadly alien machines, Bo and Nadia try to join forces with the last remaining resistance fighters in Africa, battling in what will likely be humankind's last stand.

Written by Miale and Rowan Athale (Wasteland), "Revolt" will be released exclusively on DirecTV October 19th before appearing in theaters on November 17th.

synopsis:
Set in the war-ravaged African countryside, an American soldier (Lee Pace) and a French foreign aid worker (Berenice Marlohe) team up to survive the alien onslaught. As they journey through the battlefield in search of refuge, their bond will be tested when the soldier discovers his true identity.
