85-year-old music executive Clive Davis is the guy behind the guy ... behind the guy! This is his story.

Check out the trailer for "Clive Davis: The Soundtrack of Our Lives," the forthcoming documentary that chronicles the five-decade career of the legendary music mogul who is credited with discovering superstar singers like Whitney Houston and Barry Manilow. He is also known for turning young talent into world-famous superstars (e.g. Christina Aguilera, Carlos Santana, Alicia Keys, TLC, Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis, Jennifer Hudson and more).

Featuring archival footage and exclusive sit-down interviews, the film is directed by New York-based documentarian Chris Perkel.

After premiering to solid reviews at this year's Tribeca Film Festival, "Clive Davis: The Soundtrack of Our Lives" will be released exclusively on Apple Music next month, beginning Tuesday, October 3rd.
