Jennifer Lawrence goes from being a "Mockingjay" in the 'Hunger Games' series into a Russian Spy in her next action-thriller "Red Sparrow." Check out the first teaser trailer for the film, which also co-stars Joel Edgerton as a CIA internal-ops officer who has just been marked by Russian Intelligence.
Directed by "Hunger Games" helmer Francis Lawrence, and Based on the award-winning 2013 novel "Red Sparrow" by former CIA Operative Jason Matthews. The film centers on prima ballerina Dominika Egorova (Law) who after an injury gets enrolled in a school that secretly trains its students into becoming skillful assassins by using the art of seduction. Now using the code name "Red Sparrow," Egorova is assigned to seduce and kill a known CIA agent (Edgerton) that is about to make Egorova an offer she can't refuse.
The film co-stars Jeremy Irons, Ciaran Hinds, Joely Richardson, Matthias Schoenaerts, Charlotte Rampling, and Mary-Louise Parker. "Red Sparrow" flies its way into theaters on March 2, 2018.
