Hulu has unveiled the first teaser trailer for the forthcoming Season 2 of the acclaimed thriller series "Chance," featuring former "House" star Hugh Laurie as Dr. Eldon Chance, a forensic neuropsychiatrist who becomes so tormented by his patients' problems that he resorts to vigilantism as a viable solution.
Based on Kem Nunn's best-seller of the same name, the ten-episode series also stars Ethan Suplee as Chance's street thug partner, Stefania LaVie Owen as Chance's troubled teenage daughter, and Diane Farr as Chance's ex-wife. The cast also includes Clarke Peters, Greta Lee, and Brian Goodman.
Executive produced by Nunn and Alexandra Cunningham (Aquarius, Prime Suspect, Desperate Housewives), "Chance: Season 2" is due to premiere Wednesday, October 11th on Hulu.

Based on the acclaimed novel by Kem Nunn, Chance is a provocative, psychological thriller that focuses on Eldon Chance (Hugh Laurie), a San Francisco-based forensic neuropsychiatrist who reluctantly gets sucked into a violent and dangerous world of mistaken identity, police corruption and mental illness. After an ill-advised decision regarding an alluring patient who may or may not be struggling with a multiple personality disorder, Chance finds himself in the crosshairs of her abusive spouse, who also happens to be a ruthless police detective.
