Thor and Hulk become the "main event" in a new 30-second TV spot for the highly-anticipated Marvel movie "Thor: Ragnarok," which features Oscar-winner Cate Blanchett as supervillainess Hela and Jeff Goldblum as cosmic villain the Grandmaster (aka the brother of Benicio del Toro's Collector).
The film also features "Creed" actress Tessa Thompson as Asgardian warrior Valkyrie, who teams up with a hammerless Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and former "Avengers" member Bruce Banner/Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). The unlikely trio enlists the help of Loki (Tom Hiddleston) as they make their way back to Asgard after being banished by Hela.
Directed by New Zealand comedian Taiki Waititi (Hunt for the Wilderpeople, What We Do in the Shadows), "Thor: Ragnarok" is coming to theaters November 3rd.
synopsis:
Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth) finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor's quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela (Cate Blanchett) from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.
