Talk about a "stick"-y situation! Jackie Chan returns to the big screen in his new violent revenge thriller "The Foreigner," which just released a first look film clip where the action legend takes on a group of terrorists in the woods and uses just about anything and everything to get his "point" across.

In the film, Jackie Chan plays a modest Chinese businessman living in London, when his teenage daughter is senselessly killed in an IRA-linked terrorist bombing. Jackie, who was once a military operative, then devotes himself to tracking down the ones responsible for her murder.

Directed by Martin Campbell ("Casino Royale", "Goldeneye"), the film also stars Pierce Brosnan as a British government official and a former IRA leader who may or may not know the identities of the rogue Irish terrorists.

"The Foreigner" aims to open in theaters starting on October 13th.

synopsis:
The film tells the story of humble London businessman Quan (Chan), whose long-buried past erupts in a revenge-fueled vendetta when the only person left for him to love -- his teenage daughter -- is taken from him in a senseless act of politically-motivated terrorism.

In his relentless search for the identity of the terrorists, Quan is forced into a cat- and-mouse conflict with a British government official (Brosnan), whose own past may hold clues to the identities of the elusive killers.
