It is said that your life flashes before your very eyes just before you die. Well, that same effect is done on the final trailer for the upcoming thriller, "Flatliners."
Based on the now classic 90's horror-thriller by Joel Schumacher which starred Kiefer Sutherland, Kevin Bacon, Julia Roberts, William Baldwin and Oliver Platt, as five medical students that were blinded by science into jeopardizing their own lives to investigate the theory of life after death. This new remake is helmed by Danish director Niels Arden Oplev (the 2009 Swedish version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) and stars Ellen Page (Juno), Diego Luna (Rogue One), James Norton (Black Mirror), Nina Dobrev (The Vampire Diaries), and Kiersey Clemons (Dope) as the latest students that dare to cross the line.
"Flatliners" is currently slated to bring a little life back into the Box Office starting on September 29th.
synopsis:
In Flatliners, five medical students, obsessed by the mystery of what lies beyond the confines of life, embark on a daring and dangerous experiment: by stopping their hearts for short periods of time, each triggers a near-death experience -- giving them a firsthand account of the afterlife. But as their experiments become increasingly dangerous, they are each haunted by the sins of their pasts, brought on by the paranormal consequences of trespassing to the other side.
