Mother! — New Trailer

Paramount has released a brand-new trailer for Darren Aronofsky's much-buzzed-about trippy mind-bender "Mother!," which stars Jennifer Lawrence as a young pregnant and paranoid woman who gradually loses her grip on reality when uninvited guests suddenly appear at her doorstep, seemingly out of nowhere. The guests, which includes Ed Harris and Michelle Pfeiffer, seem to be only interested in meeting Lawrence's new husband (played by Oscar-winner Javier Bardem) -- though they do thank Lawrence for her "hospitality."

Harkening back to the classic psychological thrillers by Polanski, such as "Rosemary's Baby" and "Repulsion," "Mother!" recently premiered to solid reviews at the 2017 Venice Film Festival, though some critics weren't so dazzled by Aronofsky's rabbit hole of a movie.

Of course, you'll have a chance to judge for yourself when the film arrives in theaters on September 15th.
