Insidious: The Last Key — Trailer

Check out the first official trailer for the latest installment in the popular "Insidious" film series, which features veteran character actress Lin Shaye as paranormal investigator Dr. Elise Rainier who, this time around, is investigating her own family's house.

Horror filmmaker Adam Robitel, who previously helmed the 2014 found-footage thriller "The Taking of Deborah Logan," has taken over the directing reins, working from a script penned by franchise co-creator and "Saw" scribe Leigh Whannell.

Produced by Blumhouse, and co-starring Spencer Locke, Caitlin Gerard, Angus Sampson, Bruce Davison, Kirk Acevedo, and Hana Hayes, "Insidious: The Last Key" will be released in theaters on January 5th.
