Michael Fassbender is caught in a twisted cat-and-mouse game with a ruthless serial killer in the new international trailer for "The Snowman."
The icy detective thriller, which also stars Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation), Charlotte Gainsbourg (Nymphomaniac), Ronan Vibert (Saving Mr. Banks), and Chloe Sevigny (American Horror Story), with Oscar-winner J.K. Simmons and Val Kilmer, is based on the international best-seller by Norwegian crime novelist Jo Nesbo.
Fassbender plays hard-boiled detective Harry Hole who, with the help of his new partner Katrine Bratt (Ferguson), tries to catch an elusive serial killer, who manages to be always several steps ahead of the investigation.
Tomas Alfredson, the acclaimed Swedish director of "Let the Right One In" and "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy," directs the movie, which is slated for an October 20th theatrical release.
