Marvel's Inhumans — New Trailer: 'War For Their World'

added: Tue, Aug 29th '17

Now that "Game of Thrones" has just ended its adrenaline-filled seventh season. Fans are probably looking for a quick fix to tide them over. Well, Marvel and ABC are certainly hoping to lure GoT fans over to their latest collaboration: "Inhumans."

And like Thrones, the new eight-episode show revolves around the power struggle between royal family members with incredible skills. There's also an exiled King, a backstabbing brother, an unexpected political coup, a Queen with really fancy red hair, and Ramsay Bolton (aka Welsh actor Iwan Rheon) with an American-ish accent. Okay, there's no dragons or dire wolves but there is "Lockjaw" -- he's a big-ass bulldog with teleportation powers. I mean, c'mon! That alone deserves a look-see.

Check out the latest trailer for Marvel's "Inhumans," in which the pilot episode is set to air on ABC on Friday, September 29th, but will first premiere in IMAX theaters on September 1st with a special two-hour theatrical cut.

The Inhumans, a race of superhumans with diverse and singularly unique powers, were first introduced in Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965. Since that time, they have grown in prominence and become some of the most popular and iconic characters in the Marvel Universe. “Marvel’s The Inhumans” will explore the never-before-told epic adventure of Black Bolt and the royal family.
